Washing Guidelines

Care Instructions for our Hawaiian Shirts, Dresses & Shorts

Rayon

Rayon garments should be hand washed. Use the following as a guide:

For hand washable items, use the following as a guide:

Use mild cold or lukewarm water.
Gently squeeze suds through the fabric and rinse in lukewarm water.
Do not wring or twist the article.

For machine washing to help prevent damage to fringed sarongs, we recommend hand washing or if machine washing, place the item in a delicates laundry bag.

Cotton

Cotton is simple to wash as it can withstand high temperatures (hot water does not hurt the fibre). Any good detergent can be used to wash cotton.

Since cotton fibres are fairly inelastic cotton fabrics may wrinkle easily. And, fabric may need frequent ironing. A higher heat setting is needed in the dryer to dry cotton. Cotton will take much longer to dry than less absorbent fibres. Cotton can be ironed with a hot iron, and does not scorch easily.

Poly-Micro

Some of our board shorts are made using quick dry polyester microfiber. We recommend hand washing or rinsing in fresh water after swimming in salt or chlorinated water. Do not machine dry or iron this fabric. Usual Line dry under normal conditions.

Stretch

Our Swim shorts are made using a blend of polyester and spandex. These are quick dry and can be worn out or in the water. We recommend:

- Low Temperature Hand Wash

- Do not bleach

- Hang Dry

- Iron at medium setting

Across all of our products, of course you are going to get the best possible result and care by Dry-Cleanign them. We know this isn't always an option, so please refer to the instructions above for your items.
